New Year Steam Up - Saturday 31st December 2011 & Sunday 1st January 2012
Warm up on a chilly Winter's day with the Lancashire Boiler and our two Mill Engines. The Mill will be open for Tours and the Shop and Gill Box Restaurant for gifts and refreshments.
The BBC2 Edwardian Farm series featured the Mill as an example of how wool was processed at the time.
The spinning frames used to produce our distinctive pure wool knitting yarns date from the Edwardian era, so come and pay us a visit and see history in action!
