Chair of Trustees

Vacancy for Chair of Trustees

“”Probably one of the best preserved textile mill complexes in the country.” (Historic England)

Coldharbour Mill is one of the oldest woollen mills in the UK still in production, having been so since 1797. A museum since 1982, this small independent charity receives no regular state or council funding. The charity exists to preserve a site of great historic and architectural value. As a leading industrial heritage site, Coldharbour Mill’s Mission is to educate and inspire future generations. The Trustees’ and the Mill management’s joint vision is to be innovative with our heritage in developing a relevant and sustainable future for Coldharbour Mill.

Our Chair is retiring this year and this is an exciting opportunity for someone with a solid background and understanding of the heritage sector to take on this lead role and join our committed and dynamic Board to support us in this mission.
