Coldharbour Mill New Year "Steam Up" Thursday 31st December & Friday 1st January 2010

Don't miss this unique experience. See the Mill's 1867 Kittoe & Brotherhood Beam Engine and 1910 Pollit & Wigzell 300hp Horizontal Steam Engine operating under steam provided by the Lancashire Boiler. This fantastic event is put on by our dedicated Steam Team Volunteers, who are on hand to explain the working of these historic machines.

Full tours of mill are also available on these days where you can see the spinning and twisting of tops into the Mill's unique knitting wools and the looms weaving stair runners and the Mill's own Devon & Somerset Tartans.

The restored Water Wheel will also be turning.
