2013 Special Events & Exhibitions
Don't miss this unique experience. See the Mill's rare 1910 Pollit & Wigzell 300hp steam engine, 1867 Kittoe & Brotherhood Beam Engine and Lancashire Boiler operating under steam. And, not forgetting the fully restored Water Wheel built especially for the mill in 1821. A fantastic event and an amazing experience.
On Steam Up days, the Engines run between 11.00am and 4.00pm. The Mill-site, shop and restaurant are open from 10.30am.
Tours of mill are also available on these days where you can see the process of turning combed worsted tops into knitting yarn on Victorian period spinning & twisting frames. Weaving can also be seen on Hattersley shuttle looms.

Uffculme School Art Show:
The Exhibition of GCSE work will take place in the summer holiday - dates to be confirmed.
Model Railway Exhibitions:
The CVMRC hope to attend the Mill for Steam Ups .
The Culm Valley Model Railway Club will be displaying its own layout in the Fox Gallery, which Club Members will be running, together with the Mill's own Culm Valley layout.
The Club will be demonstrating a variety of models and will be delighted to answer all your model railway queries.
Events at the Mill
Summer Craft Fair - Sunday 28th July 2013.
The Mill will again be hosting a Craft Fair of local producers with wool, felt, textiles and a variety of other goods.
The Mill shop will also be open for you to purchase Coldharbour Mill products and our usual range of locally sourced goods.
Autumn Craft Expo - Sunday 27th October 2013.
An opportunity to try your hand at different crafts. A variety of local crafts people will be exhibiting their crafts, demonstrating some of their techniques and inviting you to have a go!
Child Protection Act Please note; our Volunteer Demonstrators do not have ‘CRB’ certification, though never been refused, and therefore the children must be accompanied by an appropriate Family Member or Approved Adults at all times.
