What's On

The Tuck Inn

Sunday 1st August 2021 @ 4PM

This summer we will come together after many months of being apart, to eat, drink, be merry and enjoy live performance at Coldharbour Mill.

‘The Tuck Inn’ is an open air event of live music, food making and sharing, and workshops, with a professional theatre production that reimagines Robin Hood at its heart.

You’ll be welcomed into the greenwood by the jolly, irrepressible Friar Tuck, and introduced to a band of merry men and women for an evening of music and storytelling. Along the way we’ll meet a Viking warrior-ess, an Alchemist, a Sheriff with a dastardly plan to overcome, and our band of outlaws as they search for a new Robin Hood and hero for the future.

This is an interactive, light-hearted theatrical feast for the whole family.

A practical performance skills workshop in the afternoon is also available to book, for ages 14 and upwards – with the opportunity to appear in the evening’s performance!

Tickets:

£10/£6 on door, £8/£5 in advance (tickets bought online subject to a small booking fee)

Workshop places are £5 each, and include entry into the evening’s festivities.

Affordable, freshly cooked food will be provided by food charity Catch 77 including a delicious pulled pork Outlaw Casserole, vegetarian Mighty Oak Hotpot, together with crusty bread and butter (as much as you can eat), and for the children, Little John’s favourite Hot Dogs.

This outdoor performance will be hosted in a picnic style – so bring along your own blankets to make yourself comfortable.
