Artist Exhibition
Tuesday 9th June
Amy is a Devon-based sculptor whose work
explores matrescence, mothering, womanhood, girlhood, food, agriculture,
and memory. Working with clay and found materials, she transforms
everyday objects through multiple processes to create sculptural forms.
Influenced by her experience of matrescence and her upbringing on
dairy farms, Amy’s practice is rooted in a deep connection to land, labour,
nourishment, and care.
Her sculptures become strange microworlds – holding spaces for the
weary and altars to wombs and soil, where memory, transformation, and
belonging can be quietly contemplated.
This exhibition will include a collaboration of art works by Kerry Priest, Lisa Evans, Zoe KM Foster, Sylvia Gassner & Silvia Salerno.
