Brass, Steam and Vehicles here on Sunday September 24th

Bring the industrial revolution to life and enjoy a great day out at Coldharbour Mill’s steam day on this Sunday - Sunday 24th September.

Starting at 10.30am the steam team will be firing the boilers and running the heritage machinery to provide visitors with a hands-on experience of a mill driven by steam and how the industrial revolution changed manufacturing for ever.

During the day there will be demonstrations of yarn and textile production and also a display of vintage and classic vehicles driving to the mill from around the country. Visitors will also be treated to a concert by Tiverton Town Band at 1.30pm, courtesy of Wellington Rotary Club, when a wide range of music will be played – why not bring some lunch and sit and enjoy some of your favourite melodies.

The waterside café will also be open for morning coffee, cakes, light lunches and cream teas. It will also be serving our new children’s lunch box for younger visitors. The mill shop will also be open selling a range of mill produced items to remember your day - don't forget to check out the new Wild Devon collection!
